General Product Questions
How do I know which vitamins and supplements are best for me?
Take the quiz to find out what vitamins and supplements are best for you. Please always consult your health practitioner if you are taking prescription medication, trying for a baby, pregnant, or breastfeeding.
I find swallowing pills difficult. What are my options?
If you find swallowing pills challenging, we have alternative options available for you at Daily+.
- If you're looking to supplement your diet, increase your protein intake, or support muscle growth and recovery, we recommend our Whey Protein or Plant Protein.
- If you're seeking alternatives to our skin and hair supplements, we suggest trying one of our Collagen Powders. Collagen is an essential protein that can assist in slowing the progression of aging by reducing wrinkles, improving elasticity, and enhancing skin hydration. Our Collagen is available in a Creamer, which can be added to your coffee, yoghurt, milk, or smoothie, or our Mixed Berries option that can be added to water, coconut water, or smoothies.
- If you're looking to support your gut/digestive health, we recommend our Clean Greens powder. It is packed with a blend of organic greens and antioxidants, including spirulina and chlorella. Our Clean Greens powder can be easily mixed with water or added to smoothies, providing a delicious and convenient way to boost your daily nutrient intake.
Are your products suitable for pregnancy?
Our Prenatal, Fish Oil, Veg Omega, Calcium Plus, and Iron (provided your doctor has recommended you take Iron) are generally suitable for individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying for a baby. While certain products within our library may also be safe, we recommend that you consult your doctor before taking these vitamins.
Our Vitamin C Plus, Zinc, Ashwagandha, Curcumin, and Ginkgo & Brahmi are not recommended if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying for a baby unless directed by your doctor or healthcare practitioner.
Following pregnancy, some people may require more/less of certain nutrients depending on their diet or personal needs, therefore consulting your health professional for further information is recommended.
Should I take Ashwagandha before bed if it's supposed to help you sleep?
While Ashwagandha is known to help with sleep quality, there's no need to take it specifically before bedtime. Consistent use of Ashwagandha over time can help to relax your nervous system and act as an adaptogen, which supports the body's ability to cope with stress and ultimately improves sleep quality.
It's important to note that Ashwagandha is not a sleeping pill, and we recommend speaking to your healthcare practitioner if you have a sleep-related medical condition. They can help you determine the best course of action for your individual needs.
So, don't worry about timing your Ashwagandha intake before bed. Simply take it consistently as part of a healthy lifestyle, and you may see improved sleep quality over time.
Do you have vitamins that support weight loss?
There are multiple factors to consider when supporting your weight loss journey. A big factor is ensuring that you eat a whole foods diet, including a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and good fats. We do offer a variety of supplements that will support your overall wellness by supporting blood sugar, encouraging healthy appetite patterns, improving your digestive function, and boosting detoxification pathways.
Why is my urine fluro yellow?
Have you got a B Complex in your pack? If so, have you noticed that your urine is a fluro yellow color? Don't be alarmed, this is perfectly fine!
B complex vitamins are water soluble, meaning they dissolve in water and are not stored in the body. Your body will therefore use what it needs and the rest is then excreted in your urine. This emphasizes the importance of taking the vitamins to replenish your stores every day! It doesn't mean your body isn't absorbing them—the body is simply getting rid of any excess.
If you have any additional concerns, of course, talk to your health care practitioner.
Can I crush my tablets or open my capsules to dissolve them in water or food?
It is generally not recommended to open soft capsules or crush hard tablets. Our vitamins have been designed to allow the release of active ingredients at the right time and in the right place in the body. Modifying its structure could therefore reduce its bioavailability.
Can I take Iron and Calcium together?
There have been various clinical studies done reporting conflicting results when it comes to calcium's inhibitory effect on iron and vitamin absorption. Some studies show that the inhibitory effect happens only at a meal level but not in the long term.
That being said, people with iron deficiency should ensure they are taking adequate amounts of iron to meet their needs. Therefore, it is important to always follow your health professional's advice as they know your medical history and specific needs.
When selecting an iron form for our Iron product, we selected Ferrochel®, which is a patented iron (in the bioavailable form of iron called Bisglycinate Chelate), which carries no electrical charge—meaning it makes it easier to absorb and less likely to block the absorption of other nutrients.
We find that our customers prefer taking their vitamins altogether as they tend to forget taking them if they have to take them at separate times of days. That being said, for optimum absorption, and if you wish to take Iron and Calcium separately, you can take Calcium and Iron 1-2h apart.

Why do vitamins make me nauseous?
Do you take your daily vitamins, only to feel nauseous shortly after? You're not alone. Nausea is a common side effect of taking certain vitamins, and it can be enough to make you want to ditch your daily routine altogether. But before you give up on your vitamins entirely, there may be a simple solution to alleviate your discomfort.
First, let's explore why vitamins can make you feel nauseous. Some vitamins, when you take them on an empty stomach, can't be absorbed as effectively and may cause stomach upset. Additionally, some people may have a sensitivity to certain vitamins, causing nausea or other digestive symptoms.
If you're experiencing nausea from your vitamins, here are a few steps you can take to mitigate the discomfort:
- Take your vitamins with food and a large glass of water: This can help to slow down the absorption of the vitamins, reducing the likelihood of stomach upset. Plus, taking vitamins with a meal can help to increase their effectiveness, as certain vitamins are better absorbed when taken with food.
- Avoid taking your vitamins before exercising: It's generally recommended to avoid taking vitamins right before exercising because it may cause some discomfort and gastrointestinal issues. Some suggest that the best time to take vitamins is after a workout, not before, as the vitamins may move around in your stomach and trigger gastric acid production, which causes heartburn and acid reflux.
- Try taking vitamins at a different time of day: If you typically take your vitamins in the morning and experience nausea shortly after, try taking them in the evening instead. Consistency is key when it comes to taking supplements! It's important to determine the most effective timing and dosage that works for you and incorporate it into your daily routine.
Feeling nauseous after taking vitamins is a common problem. By following these tips, even those with a very sensitive stomach can continue their vitamin routine without experiencing discomfort. As always, if your symptoms persist or worsen, we recommend consulting with a healthcare professional.
Dietary Restrictions
Are your products vegetarian/vegan friendly?
Most of our supplements are vegetarian/vegan friendly, however please make sure you visit each product description page to check. There is a section on each page that shows the different ingredients and dietary fulfillments. If the product is vegetarian/vegan friendly, follow the key, where 'V' stands for vegetarian and 'VG' for vegan.
I have an allergy. How do I know if your products are suitable for me?
Our products are GMO-free and have no added Gluten and most of our products have no added Lactose or Soy. However, due to the manufacturing process, we can't guarantee that our products are completely free of small traces of these allergens.
We disclose information about the most common allergens on each product description page under a section labelled &quo;See supplement facts&quo;. Additionally, if you mark an allergen in the quiz, we won't recommend any items that contain that allergen.
Where can I see if a product contains things that I'm allergic to?
On each product description page, there is a section that outlines 'Allergens'. You can identify if the product contains the most common allergens.
If you identify a certain allergen during the quiz, then rest assured we will not recommend a product that contains that allergen.
Please be aware that due to the production process, our products may contain traces of certain allergens listed in our quiz. If you are allergic to another ingredient and would like to check with our team, contact us at hello@Daily+.com.au.
Are your products Halal?
The majority of our products are Halal-certified by the Australian Halal Authority and Advisers (AHAA) (for more information please see section “Who is your Halal certifier” below). When a product is Halal-certified, you will see a “Halal” tag (like the below example) attached to the product on the product description page.
If the products do not have a Halal tag, does it mean that they're not suitable for Halal diets?
Not necessarily. Some products might not be suitable (if they are not Halal), some products may still be under assessment to confirm their suitability (or not), and some products may still not be assessed. For all these scenarios, the products won't carry a Halal tag.
Please contact us if you have a question about a specific product that doesn't carry a Halal tag, or its ingredients.
Who is your Halal certifier?
We have worked with the Australian Halal Authority and Advisers (AHAA) to obtain Halal certifications for all the products tagged as “Halal” on our website.
As per our certifier's definition, this means that the process of Food Production has acted according to Islamic Rites and therefore these products are All-Halal and can be consumed by Muslims in Australia and internationally.
Do you use Gelatin in your products?
The majority of our hard and soft capsules are made using vegan, plant-based cellulose and are therefore free from animal products. The current exceptions are: Fish oil, Vitamin D, Vitamin K2 and Ubiquinol capsules which are made from Gelatin, 100% bovine (from beef). These products are not currently Halal-certified because they might have been made by new or alternative manufacturers and we are still in the process of getting them assessed for certifications.
Please note that the presence of gelatin doesn't necessarily mean that the product is not Halal, you can refer to the Halal tags on each product to see if they are Halal-certified.
Do any of your products contain Pork?
None of our products contain pork or pork by-products.

Packaging
Is your packaging recyclable?
Our shipping boxes are sourced from FSC certified cardboard and printed in Australia. They are 100% recyclable and can be sent to any recycling facility to be processed into renewable fibreboard mediums.
Are your sachets eco-friendly?
As of February 2021, our vitamin sachets will be compostable and made of plant-based cellulose produced from Eucalyptus trees. The plants used come from managed forestry or crop growth and are certified to be GMO free. Our compostable sachets break down naturally and return nutrients back into the soil under home composting conditions. The films have been independently tested and certified by TUV AUSTRIA's OK compost HOME system and are ABA certified Home Compostable (Verification Scheme throughout Australia and New Zealand). This means they have been proven to break down at set composing conditions and checked for eco-toxicity.
Can the sachets be recycled?
No. Attempting to recycle your sachets may lead them to end up in landfill, where they won't completely break down. Degradation is dependent on factors such as temperature, time, and the presence of bacteria and fungi in the specific environment, such as a compost bin. Please be mindful that sending your sachets to landfill will only create more waste!
Why go with compostable sachets and not recyclable?
Recyclable is a good option, but not the best option. Australians throw out 3.5 million tonnes of plastic each year, but currently only around 10 percent of it is recycled. The rest is either burned, buried, or shipped overseas. We wanted to create a solution that enables your packaging to break down, and not compromise the environment.
If you were previously recycling your sachets and are now unable to compost them, please know you are welcome to send them back to us and we'll ensure they are composted for you! Simply contact us at customers@Dailyplus.bio to arrange this.
What if I can't compost at home?
Why not get started :) ? Here is a great guide: Composting Guide
However, if you can't compost, don't worry! There are around 150 Industrial Composting and Organics Recycling facilities in Australia. Some councils provide composting facilities through their kerbside waste collections either through green organics and garden waste bins or through dedicated organic recycling services.
What do the TUV AUSTRIA and ABA standards mean?
Currently, Standard Hong Kong has no mandatory standard on biodegradability or degradability. However, as a pioneer in this field, the requirements of TUV AUSTRIA's OK compost HOME system have served as the basis for the drafting of several voluntary standards such as Australia: AS 5810 (2010) - Biodegradable plastics - Biodegradable plastics suitable for home composting. Our sachets also hold a certification from the Home Compostable Verification Scheme throughout Asia. This verification identifies and differentiates packaging materials as biodegradable and compostable.
